CÜR Music’s branding and UX/UI is intended to be bold, cheeky, and fun. A clean unique spin on typical music applications where gestures replace play, pause, skip, and volume buttons leaving space for the album art to be front and center. Octo was developed as the mascot, a mark that can stand alone and be instantly recognized. Glitch and the cyan blue were also signifiers of the CÜR brand to build recognition.
