Shoreline Biome
Shoreline Biome is developing a Next Generation Sequencing test (NGS) which provides the first rapid and cost-effective method for looking at the microbiome at sufficient resolution to use as a diagnostic test. The test identifies pathogenic changes from multiple microbial sources that could adversely affect hospitalized individuals.
Shoreline Biome had a photograph of a shoreline that they were originally using as their logo. Using that concept I created a clean and modern version using lines to represent water, earth, and sky. This concept tied together all of the elements and fundamentals of nature which is the basis of science. These lines when stacked next to each other create a pattern that form the “wave” which is also symbolic of how DNA looks when sequenced and is used on their packaging. A simple but clever gesture to have their packing standout from others while stacked in freezers.
